Our staff are qualified and licensed in the control of all waterborne pathogens, such as:
- Mycobacterium Avium Complex (MAC)

- Stenotrophomonas maltophilia,
- E. coli,
- Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
We take the stress out of pathogen control and help our clients manage contamination.
We liaise with relevant authorities to rectify any non-compliance issues. Take a look at our enHealth Guidelines for legionella control questionnaire for more information on compliance and your requirements.
We supply documented evidence that every outlet within the premises is bacteria-free at the time of disinfection / decontamination.
Documentation & Maintenance
Hindmarsh Water Treatment provides online accessible documentation through our client access portal (reports, results, legislative requirements, site drawings, audits and standard forms to name a few).
You can also access preventative and programmed maintenance systems online to keep track of your systems management progress across all sites.
We develop water safety plans tailored to individual premises that consider Legionella and other health risks. Legionella control relies on careful attention to risk management plans, and our qualified team will ensure everything is done to keep your water safe.
Our Water Safety and Risk Management Plans are designed to comply with all current guidelines in Australia and overseas including WHO, UK HSE L8, and US ASHRAE 188.
We use an automated notification system advising you of our attendance to site. On completion, the job details are automatically emailed to you for remedial works.
Recommendations & Training
Hindmarsh Water Treatment’s qualified and skilled team perform full site audits, noting issues related to your system and providing recommendations for rectification. Our recommendations are priced for rectification and are carried out to Australian Standards as well as relevant state or territory legislative requirements.
We are dedicated to delivering consistent quality workmanship, and take pride in the installation and rectification of water treatment systems.
We provide full site hydraulic drawings in AutoCAD format recording hydraulic systems via our drafting team. We also provide full site hydraulic design to minimize the growth of biofilms and bacteria including Legionella – we use efficient heating systems designed to save ongoing costs of running sites.
We ensure we are constantly training site staff in maintenance, compliance, microbiology and systems ecology to minimise risk.
